Privacy Policy

InContext Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates PogStudio, a browser-based planogram editing platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information. By using PogStudio, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Account information. When your organization provisions access, we collect your name and work email address. This is used solely to authenticate you and associate planogram work with your account.

Planogram data. We store the planograms, shelves, product placements, and comments you create within the Service. This constitutes the core work product of the platform.

Usage data. We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used to operate and improve the Service and is not linked to individual user profiles for marketing purposes.

Communications. If you contact us directly, we retain records of that correspondence to respond to your inquiry and improve support.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Authenticate users and enforce access controls
• Enable collaboration features (shared planogram links, comments)
• Respond to support requests and communications
• Monitor for security incidents and abuse
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your planogram data for advertising or analytics beyond operating the Service.

PogStudio integrates with the Syndigo product information network to provide enriched product dimensions and imagery. When you search for a product or enrich a planogram, queries are sent to Syndigo’s API. Syndigo’s handling of those queries is governed by Syndigo’s own privacy practices. We do not share your account information or planogram contents with Syndigo.

All data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the United States. We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and routine security reviews. No system is completely secure; if you have reason to believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at development@incontextsolutions.com.

PogStudio uses Amazon Cognito for identity management in production environments. Your credentials are managed through your organization’s identity provider and are not stored in PogStudio’s own database. Session tokens are stored in your browser and expire automatically.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:

• Service providers. Infrastructure providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services) that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
• Syndigo. Product search queries, as described in Section 4 above.
• Legal requirements. If required by law, court order, or governmental authority, we may disclose information as necessary to comply with legal obligations.

PogStudio uses browser session storage to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Analytics, if any, are limited to server-side access logs described in Section 2.

We retain your planogram data and account information for as long as your organization maintains an active relationship with InContext Solutions. Upon account termination, data is retained for 90 days to allow for recovery requests, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at development@incontextsolutions.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Note that deletion requests may affect your ability to use the Service.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under GDPR or UK GDPR. Contact us to exercise those rights.

PogStudio is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users or via a notice within the Service. Continued use of PogStudio after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
